    The greatness of Patanjali is that he combined the philosophy system of classical number theory with the various denominations that were in vogue at the time without discrimination, systematically organising them so that yoga was acknowledged by Indian orthodox philosophy and had an impact on Indian philosophy as well. It succeeded in securing the centre of Indian culture.

     

    Yoga in Sanskrit transliterated

    Yoga's original meaning in Sanskrit was "harmony and togetherness." It has a 5,000-year history and Indian origins.

    It includes more than 8,000 unattended postures, muscle and spine exercises, etc.

    Yoga is practised by everyone as a way of life, from young children to the elderly, Hollywood celebrities (like Madonna), to everyday labourers. It is a powerful tool for stress relief and for maintaining excellent health.

    Through yoga, people can become wise. People experience worry and suffering in their bodies and minds as a result of people's ignorance in day-to-day life, which leads to a variety of illnesses.

    People's ignorance can be transformed into wisdom via the practise of yoga, and illnesses can then be cured permanently.
